This is from my journal the week before it happened. I had no idea how much "harder" my life was about to become...

Black Thursday

Death came...and so did Jesus
September 20, 2007
I lost my daughter.
This day will
forever be the worst,
most horrific day
of my life.
I have not been able
to write it.
I lost my duaghter.
Amanda Christian
Brinker died.
She was murdered
My heart will
never heal. My
once swollen womb
where God knit her
together, will forever
be empty just as
the place in my heart that was
destroyed that
horrific day.

I lost
my
baby girl
A monster
killed her
Amanda Christian
is now an
angel in heaven in a
place of perfect peace
one with God
in Jesus loving arms.

Thank you God
for giving her to
me for the 14
almost 15 years
of her life to
love her and the
honor and privilege
of being her
Mommy.
I will always love you
with all of my heart
